MATERIA ceramic slabs (dimensions 1635 x 3230 mm, thickness 6, 12 and 20 mm) are the end result of a long evolutionary process that has led to the perfect fusion between high aesthetic quality and excellent technical characteristics.

The production plant based in Solignano Nuovo, in the heart of the Modena ceramic district, utilizes more than 100 silos for mixing wet and dry materials, for this reason it is able to manage an infinite series of colored mixtures. The aesthetics of the slabs is also improved thanks to the perfect correspondence between the body and the surface. Regarding the textures, the plant utilizes the latest generation 8-head digital machine, which is able to bring the graphic resolution of the product to the highest levels.

The large format, combined with the thickness of 12 mm, allows a higher resistance to the breaking load: it becomes then possible to use the MATERIA slabs in the context of floors for commercial activities subjected to heavy foot traffic.

The ventilated facade (or ventilated wall) consists of an external coating that is applied to a building that provides, through appropriate anchoring systems, panels not adherent to the structure in such a way to create an air space where natural ventilation is generated due to the chimney effect.
